November is a very busy month for Community Hospice. As we
recognize National Hospice and Palliative Care Month, we
recognize our gifted staff members, committed healthcare
providers and community partners. With their constant dedication,
Community Hospice cared for over 2,080 patients and their
families in the past 12 months. Thank you for helping us fulfill
our mission every day of the year.
As Community Hospice’s mission is to provide compassionate and
quality care, education and support to patients and their
families, regardless of the ability to pay, we are continuously
evaluating the needs in the community to ensure we are providing
the best services possible. One of our services is to provide
grief and bereavement services to anyone in the community that
has experienced a loss, including children. On November 20, 2014,
Community Hospice will recognize Children’s Grief Awareness Day.
