Compensation & Benefits

We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages.  Our clinical pay scales are as follows:

• Registered Nurse -                     $32/hr - $42/hr
• Licensed Vocational Nurse -       $18/hr - $26/hr
• Certified Home Health Aide -      $9.98/hr - $14.96/hr
• Registered Dietitian –                $26.52/hr - $39.78/hr
• Social Worker -                          $19.79/hr - $31.72/hr
• Chaplain -                                 $19.79/hr - $31.72/hr

All salaries are dependent upon experience

Our health insurance benefits package for full-time employees is paid for by Community Hospice.  Part-time employees receive 50% premiums paid by CHI.   The full-time benefits package includes:

Alternative Scheduling

Community Hospice offers alternative work schedules for our clinical staff.  Depending on the work group to which you are assigned, our outpatient RNs and LVNs work five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts and share in an on-call weekend rotation.  All RNs, LVNs, and CHHAs that work at our Alexander Cohen Hospice House work three 12-hour shifts.

History & Culture

Community Hospice was founded over 24 years ago by three volunteers and now comprises three companies at multiple locations in state-of-the-art facilities.  We are supported by generous donations from the community, events coordinated by the Community Hospice Foundation, and revenues from our Hope Chest Thrift Stores and Auto Division.  For more details on our history, click here.
